Heart of the Matter Education was founded in 1998 by two adoptive mothers, Julie Drew and Katie Prigel Sharp, an educator and a social worker who share a passion for parenting that makes sense given the science and research of child development.
What We Do
Heart of the Matter Education provides online coursework for parents and the professionals that serve them.
Why We Do It
Heart of the Matter Education firmly believes that dispensing information from experts in the field is not enough. True education happens when participants understand the research and can apply practical tools to everyday parenting.
