This course addresses both the theoretical and practical aspects of openness in adoption.  Participants explore what open adoption might look like before and after adoption, the individual nature of openness, benefits, challenges and more.

We went beyond talking to a few experts, adoptive parents, birthparents, or a panel of several adoptees.  Hundreds of individuals whose lives and professions are touched by adoption lent their knowledge and experiences to the course, including results from our survey in which 281 adult adoptees shared their unique perspectives.  See what the have to say in Opening Up Open Adoption.

This package is recommended for all adoptive/foster care parents/caregivers/professionals and includes access, testing and certificates for two parents for 3 hours of education.
