Adopting in Virginia (domestic)

This newly bundled course package meets the State of Virginia's education requirements for adopting families and contains:

• the new Prenatal Risk Factors and Adoption course that uses the latest research and includes a new module focusing on parenting the common effects of exposure for parents who may not know what or if their children were exposed
• enhanced Race and Culture course which allows participants to interact with the latest media and to participate in Discussion boards
• reflection materials allowing parents to take their education to the next level
• 6 full-length courses: 

• Childhood Growth and Development 
• Opening Up Open Adoption
• A Different Kind of Discipline
• Talking to Your Child About Adoption
• Race and Culture
• Prenatal Risk Factors and Adoption
• Material specific to adoptive parents residing in Virginia 

This package is recommended for all adoptive families and professionals and includes access, testing and certificates for two parents for 14 hours of adoption education.
