Race and Culture Course

Explore the concepts of race and culture as they relate to adoption and foster care in our Race and Culture course.  Interact with the lastest media in order to consider transracial adoption from the perspective of adult adoptees, and  participate in discussion boards with other parents and professionals.  Topics discussed include:  

• Addressing racism
• Looking at culture in terms of larger and sub-cultures
• Talking with children about race
• Identifying white privilege
• Transracial adoption from the perspective of adult adoptees
• And more!

This package is recommended for all and includes access, testing and certificates for two parents for 2 hours of adoption education.
